The name Dingolfi is derived from the Old Norse word Dingulfr, meaning “The Assembly of the Wolf.” It pays homage to the ancient northern lands where North Sea travelers and Highland clans would gather to trade, share stories, and find kinship.
Dingolfi Premium Rich Reserve is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky with an ABV of 46%, bottled at a robust strength to preserve its natural character. It has been matured in hand-selected ex-bourbon oak casks and is non-chill filtered to protect its full texture and depth.
According to the Dingolfi Spirits team, the whisky’s nose is warm and welcoming, featuring notes of vanilla pod, honey, toasted nuts, and orchard fruits. On the palate, it is rich and rounded, with layers of shortbread biscuits, baked apples, milk chocolate, and Brazil nuts, complemented by warm wood spices. The finish is a comforting, nutty warmth with lingering notes of cacao, roasted hazelnut, and dark espresso.
