Hereford, UK – Synalogik Innovative Solutions Ltd (“Synalogik”), a leading developer of an Intelligence Operating Platform for investigators, compliance and risk professionals, has successfully completed an extension to its Series A funding round, raising a total of £12.5 million.
The latest round of funding was supported by both existing and new shareholders, including the Mark Blandford family offices, William Currie Group, and Sir Terry Leahy. This significant investment will further support the development and expansion of Synalogik’s flagship platform, Scout®, which combines data, AI, analysis, and workflow to provide a comprehensive and efficient solution for connecting and analyzing information.
Founded in 2018, Synalogik was built on the principle that those who understand the problem should have the power to solve it. The company has evolved over the past 18 months from a Professional Services-led business to a SaaS-focused company, leveraging its cutting-edge AI-enabled platform.
Scout® is designed to bring together people, data, and processes in a single, secure environment. It enables teams to connect internal, external, and open-source information, analyze it, identify hidden relationships and risks, and automate investigative processes, ultimately providing verified, actionable intelligence.
With its roots in law enforcement, Synalogik’s technology is well-equipped to meet the demands of highly regulated environments, where the need to connect fragmented information and understand complex relationships is critical. The company is now expanding its reach into other industries, including financial crime, fraud, compliance, iGaming, insurance, fintech, financial services, and government.
The funding will be used to further enhance Scout® and to accelerate its commercial expansion, with a particular focus on increasing sales across target markets. As part of its growth strategy, Synalogik has also appointed Peter Irvine as Chief Business Officer. With over 30 years of experience in the global financial services sector, Peter brings valuable expertise to the team. His most recent role was as a key member of the management team at Acin, an award-winning SaaS-based operational risk platform that was acquired last year by Cube, backed by HG Capital.
CEO of Synalogik, Gareth Mussell, commented on the recent developments, saying, “We are thrilled to have the continued support of our longstanding shareholders and welcome our new investors as we enter the next phase of growth. Our Scout platform has gained significant traction in the gaming and insurance sectors, and we have also become the UK’s Tier 1 Law Enforcement Data Integration platform of choice.”
Mussell added, “Our goal now is to establish Synalogik as the Intelligence Operating Platform for investigators, compliance, and risk professionals. With Peter’s experience in scaling SaaS businesses and building sales capability, I am confident we can accelerate our growth across both the public and private sectors.”
Newly appointed Chief Business Officer, Peter Irvine, also expressed his excitement about joining the team, saying, “Synalogik combines extensive experience in law enforcement with significant investments in technology and AI. Scout® addresses a fundamental challenge for organizations in highly regulated industries – connecting fragmented information and turning it into actionable intelligence. I look forward to working with Gareth and the team to scale the business in its next stage of growth.”
Synalogik plans to conduct an institutional-led Series A funding round in 2027, following projected growth in annual recurring revenue (ARR) across its target markets and additional multi-year, multi-million-pound ARR government contracts.
