“TEECH Humanitarian Vehicles in Europe and Ukraine Receive Assistance from UK Connect and KeySIM”

TEECH charity receives support from UK Connect and KeySIM for international humanitarian missions.

On Friday, September 11, 2026, UK Connect and KeySIM announced their collaboration in supporting TEECH, a volunteer-run humanitarian charity. The two companies are providing communications equipment and SIMs to help TEECH’s vehicle teams stay connected while traveling across Europe and Ukraine.

Led by UK Connect, the project aims to provide reliable and accessible mobile connectivity for the vehicles’ push-to-talk radios. KeySIM has donated multi-network SIMs that can connect to up to four mobile networks in the UK and three networks in Ukraine. This will ensure that the radios have access to alternative networks as the vehicles travel, eliminating reliance on a single mobile operator throughout the journey.

The radios will play a vital role in helping TEECH’s teams maintain communication during long international journeys through multiple countries and challenging environments. TEECH, which stands for Telecoms Eastern European Challenge, is a UK-registered charity established in 1998 and run by a team of dedicated volunteers. Their work includes delivering humanitarian aid and improving facilities for communities in Eastern Europe.

Neil Calvert, Managing Director of UK Connect, expressed his pride in leading this project and supplying the necessary communications equipment. He also highlighted the importance of KeySIM’s contribution in providing multi-network SIM connectivity, essential for the success of TEECH’s missions.

Graham Robinson, Managing Director of KeySIM, emphasized the significance of reliable communications for volunteer teams traveling thousands of miles across multiple countries and into Ukraine. He added that their SIMs, with the ability to connect to multiple networks, will ensure uninterrupted communication for the radios throughout the journey.

This collaboration between UK Connect and KeySIM brings together their expertise in deploying managed communications solutions and multi-network IoT connectivity to support TEECH’s humanitarian work. The project is a testament to the companies’ commitment to using their resources for the greater good.
