Voel Coaches to Celebrate 75 Years with Star-Studded Anniversary Events

Last Updated on: 22nd November 2023, 04:17 pm

Nestled in the scenic landscape of North Wales, Dyserth-based Voel Coaches, a leading coach company, is gearing up to commemorate its 75th anniversary. Since its inception in 1949, this family-run business has grown to offer a fleet of modern executive coaches, known for their blend of quality and affordability. Catering to a diverse range of UK and European destinations, Voel Coaches specialises in both Day Excursions and Coach Holidays.

As the 75th anniversary nears, Voel Coaches is planning an extravagant two-day celebration filled with music, festivities, activities, and a chance for customers to win exciting prizes.

Mavis & Melvyn Kerfoot-Davies, proprietors of Voel Coaches Limited, express their enthusiasm: “To mark this prestigious milestone of our company, we are really excited to be bringing these fantastic concerts to the local area for our surrounding communities who have supported us over the years, we have some extra special surprises coming up in 2024.”

Starting as a modest venture, Voel Coaches has evolved into a reputable local company with a commendable standing in the coach travel industry. The business remains in the family, with the third and fourth generations now actively involved in its operations.

Michelle Kerfoot-Higginson, Managing Director of Voel Coaches Limited, shares her pride: “Having been brought up in the business, I have seen the company go from strength to strength. I am very proud to be managing a team of supportive employees. Here’s to another 75 years!”

The Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl, a venue as historic as Voel’s own legacy, will host the anniversary events.

Chris Gentile and Jessica Blacknell, event organisers from Voel Coaches, comment: “The company is celebrating its 75th anniversary, which is a significant milestone. What better way to honour our communities’ heritage than by organising two exciting concerts? It is a joy to be bringing some of the performers in the line-up to The Pavilion Theatre after we have taken many passengers to see them at theatres and arenas throughout the UK. This is just the beginning of what we have planned for 2024.”

The lineup for these concerts is impressive, featuring British boyband Blue, Boyzlife, Heather Small, The Jerseys, and a range of special guests including Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finalists, Welsh of the West End, Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir, and Ella-Grace, a rising local talent. Each concert promises additional surprises.
