The Matthew 25 Mission has announced the launch of their Share the Love campaign to be held at the Gather Space in Eastbourne’s Beacon Shopping Centre on the 29th and 30th of November 2023.
The Matthew 25 Mission is a local charity that provides support and assistance to the vulnerable and marginalised in Eastbourne. The event will provide an opportunity for the local community to learn more about their key workers and volunteers, as well as their Share the Love 500 campaign.
Activities for all ages will be provided, such as free art and gardening sessions run by volunteers. Additionally, ‘Voices From The Margins: Matthew 25 Mission Eastbourne’, a book that evolved from a writing residency undertaken by Paul Howard in collaboration with Matthew 25 Mission volunteer, Lesley Dawson, will also be launched.
Last year, the charity provided 38,485 meals and accommodated 33,687 visits from guests. To find out more about the event, follow them on their social media pages.
