Today heralds a significant development as Hiber, a leading provider of solutions for well and pipeline integrity, announces its acquisition of Srett Industrie, a foremost manufacturer specialising in IoT LoRaWAN-enabled hardware for ATEX environments. This strategic move is poised to bolster the research, development, and manufacturing aspects of HiberHilo’s offerings to its worldwide clientele, significantly enhancing the pace of innovation in the realm of well integrity and remote monitoring technologies.

Following this acquisition, Hiber’s HiberHilo product line will now encompass a full spectrum of end-to-end IoT solutions, including hardware and LoRaWAN technology paired with advanced satellite, 3G/4G, or LAN connectivity options, complemented by comprehensive data services.

The integrated solutions will enable continuous remote monitoring of assets, tracking variables such as pressure, temperature, and flow, and facilitating remote control of valves. Together, Hiber and Srett Industrie provide services to eight of the world’s top ten Oil & Gas and Hydrogen majors across all continents.

Erik Boertje, Hiber’s Managing Director, expressed his enthusiasm for this milestone: “This is a significant moment for Hiber. This acquisition is an important step forward, and together, we look forward to accelerating to deliver sustainable and safe IoT solutions for the energy industry.”

Echoing this sentiment, Philippe Gambier, General Manager of Srett Industrie, commented on the partnership: “Having worked closely with Hiber over the past years, I am confident that together we will better support the energy industry, and minimise its carbon footprint and HSE exposure while improving operation efficiencies.”

In the wake of this acquisition, Srett Industrie will be integrated into the Hiber brand and continue its operations under this well-established name.
