“Three Godmothers Unite to Officially Name Mein Schiff Flow: One Ship, One Bond”

Hamburg/Trieste, June 21, 2026 – TUI Cruises welcomed their newest ship, Mein Schiff Flow, into their fleet with a spectacular naming ceremony on Monday. The ceremony, held in Trieste, Italy, was attended by thousands of guests and marked a first for the company.

For the first time in TUI Cruises’ history, three women – Julia, Annabelle, and Karin – served as godmothers for the new ship. The three women, representing the diversity of the guests and their stories with the Mein Schiff fleet, made a grand entrance in couture dresses designed by Guido Maria Kretschmer.

The ceremony, themed “Go with the Flow,” transformed the ship into a world of experiences for guests to explore at their own pace. Collaborative art projects, light displays, and immersive shows were just a few of the activities available throughout the ship.

As the evening progressed, the ship itself became a stage for a multi-scene live production. Musicians, artists, and performers scattered throughout the ship, creating a unified experience for guests. The concept of “flow” was brought to life through light, water, movement, acrobatics, and music, allowing guests to truly feel the ship’s motto.

TUI Cruises CEO Wybcke Meier expressed her excitement for the new ship, stating, “A new ship’s naming ceremony is always a special moment – full of emotion, pride, and anticipation. With Mein Schiff Flow, we are expanding our fleet with a ship that represents a new kind of cruise: characterized by lightness, encounters, and the feeling of traveling at one’s own pace.”

Following the naming ceremony, Mein Schiff Flow will embark on its first season in the Mediterranean before heading to northern Germany for the winter season. The ship, with its expansive public areas and new feel-good zones, complements its sister ship, Mein Schiff Relax, and continues the concept of the InTUItion class.

TUI Cruises GmbH, a joint venture between TUI AG and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., is one of the leading cruise companies in the German-speaking countries. Their fleet of nine ships, including Mein Schiff Relax and Mein Schiff Flow, offers modern holiday cruises at sea in the premium segment. TUI Cruises also recently acquired Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, a leading luxury and expedition cruise brand in the German-speaking countries.
