Siren Craft Brew, an independent brewery based in Reading, is set to open its newest bar in Cheltenham’s Brewery Quarter this September. The bar will offer a wide selection of brewery-fresh beer, cask ale, wines, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, and a delicious food menu.
Located in the former space of Brewdog, the bar will feature over 30 lines of Siren’s signature brews, as well as a new Crowdfunding campaign that will reward contributors with 150% credit to spend at the new bar or online at Siren’s webshop.
Siren has a track record of involving its community in its growth, with previous crowdfunding campaigns attracting thousands of supporters and generating over £400,000 in boosted bar credit for the opening of their Reading town-centre taproom, Siren RG1.
Whether you are a new fan of Siren Craft Brew, a regular customer, or have visited one of their venues in Berkshire, the new Crowdfunder offers the chance to help create an exceptional space in Cheltenham. Pledges to the campaign start at £50, and contributors will receive their pledge value plus a bonus amount to spend at the new bar or online. Additional rewards include limited-edition merchandise and access to exclusive events.
The new bar, located in the Brewery Quarter with over 230 years of brewing history, will offer a social space for both beer and non-beer drinkers. The venue will feature a redesigned layout with areas for casual drinks, quiet conversations, and private bookings.
Founded in Berkshire 13 years ago, Siren has grown into a business employing over 80 people and brewing close to four million pints of beer in 2026. This new Cheltenham venue marks the brewery’s latest step in bringing its independent and community-focused approach to hospitality to a new audience.
The Crowdfunder project presents an opportunity to revitalize the site and maintain modern beer and brewing as a prominent part of Cheltenham’s town-centre hospitality scene.
The new Cheltenham bar is scheduled to open in September, with the Crowdfunder running for four weeks. Danny Wratten-Sanchez, Hospitality Area Manager for Siren Craft Brew and Siren Country Pubs, commented on the crowdfunding campaign, stating, “The Crowdfunder allows us to engage early with the Cheltenham public and create a buzz ahead of the grand opening.”
He added, “The campaign helps us put a Siren stamp on the place, making it feel more like a unique space in Cheltenham.”
Testimonials from previous Siren Crowdfunding investors highlight the success and satisfaction of supporting the brewery’s growth. Antonio, a Siren Crowdfunding Investor, shared, “Since investing, I have flown in to attend several Siren events…I really enjoy being able to reach and talk with people, including all the Siren team.”
Gavin, a Siren RG1 Crowdfunder, stated, “Backing the Reading RG1 crowdfunder gave me the chance to support Siren directly and help establish a venue that has become a regular destination for me.”
George, a Siren Tap Yard Customer, expressed his love for spending time at the Siren Tap Yard, stating, “I am slightly obsessed with Siren and my kids raise their eyebrows as they hear me evangelising about Siren.”
