Stirling, Scotland – The Stirling Highland Games and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Museum have formed a powerful alliance to commemorate a significant milestone in the history of Stirling. Together, they will honor the city’s 900 years of heritage by showcasing a historic photo exhibition at the Stirling Highland Games event.

The partnership between these two iconic organizations represents a blending of tradition, culture, and community spirit. Both share a deep commitment to preserving Scotland’s heritage while fostering a sense of pride and belonging among locals and visitors alike.

The photo exhibition, featuring Regimental Stirling-related images, will be unveiled at the Stirling Highland Games on Saturday, August 17th. This exhibition will offer a vibrant glimpse into Stirling’s past and will be a highlight of the event for all attendees.

“This partnership between the Stirling Highland Games and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Museum perfectly embodies our shared commitment to honoring Stirling’s heritage,” said Matt McGrandles, President of the Stirling Highland Games Committee. “We are thrilled to be a part of the Stirling 900 campaign and are grateful for the collaboration and enthusiasm of Islay and his team at the museum. Since its establishment in 1818, the Stirling Highland Games have been a testament to Scotland’s enduring traditions. The games are known for their highland games competitions, traders’ village, and creative arts offerings, attracting competitors and spectators from around the world.
