H2H Sensory Theatre Launches New Drama, Dance & Musical Theatre Group for Children and Young Adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

East Surrey and Sussex, UK – Head2Head Sensory Theatre, a charity dedicated to providing theatre experiences for individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), is excited to announce the launch of its latest program, A Sense Of Fun. Designed for children aged 7-13 and young adults aged 14 and above, this drama, dance, and musical theatre group aims to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment for individuals with diverse needs and abilities.

Anni Rhodes Steere, Founder of Head2Head Sensory Theatre, explains the inspiration behind the program, stating, “This innovative program brings musical theatre to a multi-sensory environment, tailored to meet the varied sensory, communication, and mobility needs of participants. Facilitated by inspiring professionals, sessions combine accessible storytelling, creative movement, and music to engage and inspire every learner.” The weekly sessions will take place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoons, starting in September.

Located at The Barn Hub in Crowhurst Lane End, near Oxted, Surrey, the sessions will be limited to a small group of 12 individuals, with a strong emphasis on individual support, creative expression, and performance opportunities at G-Live in Guildford and The Barn Hub. Head2Head Sensory Theatre is known for its use of sensory-rich tools, such as props, music, visual narratives, and tactile engagement, to make the performing arts accessible for all. The A Sense Of Fun group welcomes participants of all levels and abilities.
