Pendley Manor to host Ruby Ball in celebration of Chilterns Neuro Centre’s 40th anniversary

The Chilterns Neuro Centre, a charity based in Wendover, celebrated its 40th anniversary on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 with a special Ruby Ball at Pendley Manor near Tring. The event welcomed approximately 140 guests for an evening of celebration, dinner, and dancing in honor of the organization’s four decades of providing vital support and therapies to those affected by MS, Parkinson’s, and strokes.

The event began with a three-course dinner followed by live entertainment from local band The Strats, who kept the dance floor packed throughout the night. Through ticket sales, a raffle, and an auction, the ball successfully raised £23,501 to support the Centre’s ongoing work in the community.

The Ruby Ball was made possible with the support of several local organizations and individuals, including Platinum Sponsor Dux Advisory. “We were proud to support the Chilterns Neuro Centre in recognition of their important milestone,” said Shaun Brownsmith from Dux Advisory. “The Centre plays a crucial role in improving the lives of many in the local community, and we are committed to helping ensure its services continue into the future.”

Danielle Medd, Fundraising Manager at the Chilterns Neuro Centre, expressed her gratitude for the success of the event, saying, “This was a truly special evening, bringing together members of our community to celebrate everything the Centre has achieved over the past 40 years. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, donated, and supported the ball. A particular thank you goes to Dux Advisory for their generous sponsorship and continued commitment to the work we do.”

The Chilterns Neuro Centre extends its heartfelt thanks to all those who contributed to the Ruby Ball’s success and looks forward to continuing its mission of helping people in the local community affected by MS, Parkinson’s, and strokes to live life to the full.
