London AI hackathon gives birth to women’s health startup, now a registered business after just one day

London, UK – Digital Women, a national network supporting women across marketing, tech, business and entrepreneurship, will be hosting their next AI Build Day on Wednesday 15 July 2026 at NatWest’s London hub, 94 Moorgate. The event, sponsored by Raylo, will bring together women from various backgrounds to form teams, use AI tools to build a new solution, and pitch it live to a panel of judges for a chance to win a £3,000 prize.

The event follows the success of the previous AI Build Day in March 2026, hosted at Canva’s London headquarters. On that day, a team of strangers walked in with no prior experience and walked out as the co-founders of HERROUTE, an AI-powered women’s health platform tackling PCOS. The team went on to register the business and continue building it, with one of its co-founders, Thuha Wright, returning to the upcoming event as a mentor and judge.

“AI has completely changed what’s possible. You no longer need a developer or a big team to test an idea; you just need the right room and the courage to start. HERROUTE is living proof of that. Two hours of building turned into a registered business. AI Build Day exists to give more women that exact moment, surrounded by people who want them to win,” said Lucy Hall, Founder and CEO of SocialDay and Digital Women.

The winning team at the AI Build Day will receive a £3,000 prize (£500 per person) and featured coverage across Digital Women’s channels. The day will also include rapid skill sessions led by industry experts, including Suman Randhawa (CCO at ATOMIC) and Coco Shellim (Founder & CEO, Sound AiSleep), as well as a Dragon’s Den-style judging panel featuring leaders from investment, entrepreneurship, marketing, and product.

Tickets for the event are strictly limited to 60 participants and are available for £75 + VAT for Digital Women members and £125 + VAT for non-members. The event is CPD accredited and will take place at the NatWest Event Hub in London. NatWest, which runs the NatWest Accelerator supporting founders in starting, scaling, and growing their businesses, will be hosting the event. Raylo, the subscription platform for the world’s leading electronics brands, is the sponsor of the event.
