Last night, on 16 May, LID Publishing celebrated a successful night at the Business Book Awards 2023, with three of its titles taking home awards.

Leader As Healer, by Nicholas Janni, won both the Leadership Book of the Year Award and the highly prestigious award of the Business Book of the Year, which was selected by the Business Book Awards Head Judge, Jacq Burns, from the winners in all 14 categories. Leader As Healer offers an alternative approach to leadership, aiming to reawaken the physical and emotional innate human capacities.

Panos by Panos Papadopoulos with Jack Yan was Highly Commended in the Business Journey Book category. The autobiographical work provides an insight into the journey of a Greek man who has followed his passion to build a hugely successful multi-million-dollar fashion empire.

Three other LID titles were also finalists on the evening, these were: Great Networking by Alisa Grafton in the Business Self-Development Book Category; The Bullshit-Free Book by Kevin Duncan in the Short Business Book Award Category; and Onlife Fashion by Philip Kotler, Giuseppe Stigliano and Riccardo Pozzoli in the Specialist Book Category.

Martin Lui, LID’s COO & Publisher, said: “We had the most amazing evening at the Business Book Awards 2023 and we are absolutely delighted and proud of the awards our authors won. I would like to also congratulate all of LID’s finalists and say how proud we are of the books we published together.”

The awards come as LID Publishing celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Since 1993, the publishing house has been committed to sharing knowledge and working with hundreds of thought leaders in the business world.

Teya Ucherdzhieva, LID’s media contact, said: “We are delighted with the awards won and proud of the books LID Publishing has published.” Videos and high-resolution pictures are available upon request.
