Kimon Services has won the Catalyst for Change Award in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the 2025 Outsourcing Impact Review (OIR), recognising its transformative CSR initiative, “Providing Opportunities for Women in India.”

The accolade acknowledges Kimon’s dedicated work to advance gender inclusion by developing high-quality roles for women throughout its India operations. The initiative combines paid training, fair pay progression, mentoring, and flexible employment structures to support women returning to work, entering employment for the first time, or balancing family care responsibilities. It aims to build stable, empowering careers without the constraints of commuting or relocation.

Michael Kitt, CEO at Kimon Services, said: “This award belongs to our team in India and also to the customers who believed in what we are building. Diversity and equity are not side projects for us; they are embedded in how we hire, train, promote and support our people. We’re proud that OIR has recognised the practical impact of this approach, and we will continue to widen access to skilled careers for women.”

A spokesperson from Kimon’s India leadership team added: “The remote-first model, coupled with paid training and clear progression routes, has opened doors for talented women who were previously constrained by safety concerns, long travel times or family commitments. Our focus now is to scale responsibly while maintaining quality, fair pay and strong support.”

“Providing Opportunities for Women in India” is a pioneering, remote-first employment model that provides secure, fully home-based roles for women. By removing commute and safety barriers, it enables greater inclusion and flexibility for those balancing domestic and professional responsibilities. The programme integrates paid training, mentoring, and development pathways into its operations while reducing carbon impact through lower commuting and office dependency.

By August 2025, 438 women had joined the programme, maintaining a 95% retention rate after one year. Average household income increased by ₹32,500 per month, while 92% of participants reported an improved work–life balance, 48% achieved promotion or upskilling, and overall empowerment rose by 14%.

The Outsourcing Impact Review, organised annually by Outsource Accelerator, spotlights outstanding examples of social impact within the global outsourcing sector. Each year, entries are reviewed by an independent panel, with results published in a public report. The Catalyst for Change Award, introduced in 2025, honours organisations that deliver measurable improvements in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and create lasting benefits for local communities.
