Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025: Head2Head Sensory Theatre Aims to Raise £3,500 in a Week
London, UK – Head2Head Sensory Theatre is gearing up for the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025, taking place from 2nd to 9th December 2025. The small charity hopes to raise £3,500 in just one week, with the generous support of Big Give’s Champions who will be matching donations during the campaign.
The funds raised will go towards producing a brand new touring sensory production based on Greek myths, as well as workshops and interactive activities that support education, wellbeing, life skills, and mental health. These resources are vital for the Disability community, and Head2Head is committed to providing accessibility and equity for Deaf, Disabled, and Neurodivergent children and young adults.
Samantha Renke, Broadcaster, Disability Rights Campaigner, and Patron of Head2Head Sensory Theatre, believes that everyone deserves escapism and the chance to experience the arts. She says, “Give Big and make sure vital resources like these are available for the Disability community.”
BBC actress and charity Ambassador, Georgia de Gidlow, also recognizes the importance of Head2Head’s work. She says, “Making theatre accessible for all children creates a space for children with all abilities to learn, engage, and have fun! Supporting this cause is essential for the amazing work this charity does!”
Founder and volunteer, Anni Rhodes-Steere, explains the impact that inclusive, sensory-rich theatre can have on children with special or additional needs. She says, “Theatre brings joy, confidence, and calm. Children with disabilities face major barriers to traditional theatre, but Head2Head removes those barriers. Our aim is to give these children the chance to be part of the story rather than left out of it.”
You can get involved in this important cause by visiting BigGive.org and making a donation from 2nd to 9th December 2025. The campaign will close on 9th December 2025, so don’t forget to set a reminder and add Head2Head’s campaign page to it. This will ensure that you don’t miss your chance to double your donation and help the charity reach over 5,500 children with the magic of theatre.
