Last Updated on: 13th August 2025, 04:33 pm

CMD Recruitment is backing four fun-filled football days in August for Bath’s children aged 6 to 15, with free coaching and lunch provided.

CMD Recruitment has announced its sponsorship of Free Football Fridays, a community project offering complimentary day-long football camps in Bath every Friday during August.

Organised by Future of Football FC, the programme aims to inspire young people to get active, interact socially, and connect with their local community during the summer break.

The sessions, running on 8, 15, 22, and 29 August, are open to boys and girls aged 6–15, regardless of experience or ability.

Dan Barfoot, Operations Manager at CMD Recruitment, said: “We’re excited to be supporting Free Football Fridays as part of our commitment to giving back to the local community. This initiative is a brilliant way to keep children active, engaged, and social over the summer — and it reflects the kind of values we promote at CMD every day.”

Each participant will enjoy quality football coaching, structured team games, and a free packed lunch.

The events are designed to offer a safe, inclusive space where children can exercise, have fun, and make new friends.

A total of 400 places are on offer, with one booking permitted per child. Registration is available online and via QR code, with places filled in order of application.

CMD Recruitment and Elevate Cloud are working alongside Future of Football FC to ensure the opportunity reaches as many families as possible across Bath and surrounding towns.

Since its launch in 2020, Future of Football FC has been committed to providing accessible football experiences, focusing on developing skills, embracing diversity, and opening participation to all backgrounds.

With offices in Bath and Wiltshire, CMD Recruitment is a well-established independent consultancy, supporting employers and candidates in a range of sectors and maintaining a strong commitment to local engagement.

Parents and guardians can find out more and register their child online. Based on previous years, spaces are anticipated to be booked quickly.
