Celebrated therapist, supervisor, and resilience coach Annette Ansell has partnered with Japanese firm Enagic to mentor individuals promoting its award-winning, medical-grade water ionisation system.
With operations spanning over 40 countries and a legacy of more than five decades, Enagic is globally recognised for its Kangen Water technology, which has achieved ISO9001 certification and multiple awards. For Annette, the company’s ethics and credibility aligned perfectly with her mission to support people striving to succeed.
Annette’s path to success has been anything but easy. Once a single mother raising three children while homeless, she has turned her personal struggles into a career dedicated to helping others overcome life’s toughest challenges.
She reflected on the scorching summer of 1976 — still Britain’s hottest on record — when she found herself penniless and living with her three young children, aged six, eight, and ten. “We slept on mattresses on the floor of an abandoned caravan and lived on porridge, potatoes and hedgerow food I could forage,” she said. “It was poverty in its rawest form. I was constantly asking myself, ‘What will people think of me?’”
Surviving on just £1,548 per year (around £10,500 in today’s terms), Annette fought to change her circumstances. She studied full-time, worked in a garage, repaired car bodies, and raised her children single-handedly. “I learned that I could do far more than I ever thought possible,” she said. “Resilience isn’t just a buzzword, it’s built through saying yes to challenges and refusing to give up.”
Now a highly experienced counsellor with over 20,000 hours of psychotherapy practice, Annette channels her life lessons into empowering clients to build confidence and emotional strength.
Having helped more than 2,000 individuals and mentored countless other therapists, she combines her expertise with compassion to guide people through personal and professional growth.
“My story proves you don’t have to stay stuck,” she added. “If I can raise three kids in a caravan and rebuild my life, I know others can thrive too. That’s the belief I bring to every client I work with.”
Driven by her passion to support single parents and those most affected by the rising cost of living, Annette is using her partnership with Enagic to inspire people to achieve greater financial and personal freedom.
By blending her therapeutic expertise with Enagic’s resources, she hopes to encourage others to overcome adversity, gain independence, and create a new vision for their lives.
