Wiltshire Musicians Bring the Power of Music to the Frontline: From Live Aid to Animal Aid

Wiltshire-based band ‘Littlemen’ will be headlining a special one-night-only benefit concert at Komedia Bath on January 8th, 2026. The event, with support from Life In Mono and The Pinkertons, aims to raise funds for International Animal Rescue (IAR), an organization dedicated to protecting animals from suffering and extinction globally.

In the spirit of Live Aid, which showed the world the power of music in bringing people together for a greater cause, Littlemen is returning to the stage with a renewed purpose. The band, consisting of lead vocalist Nick Allen, drummer and producer Rob Brian, keyboardist Mark Jones, lead guitarist and rhythm guitarist Zac Ware, bassist Flash Gordan, and backing and lead vocalist Jo Nye, promises a powerful and emotive performance.

Nick Allen, speaking on behalf of Littlemen, expressed their motivation for organizing the event, saying, “Live Aid proved music can inspire people to come together and achieve an incredible impact for a good cause. Forty years on, we’re using that same spirit to highlight another urgent cause; animals who can’t speak for themselves. We hope this night raises the much-needed funds and awareness for the vital work of International Animal Rescue.”

IAR, known for their efforts in rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting animals and their habitats, will be the sole beneficiary of the concert’s proceeds. From freeing captive bears in India and Armenia to rehabilitating orangutans in Indonesia and treating injured and orphaned howler monkeys in Costa Rica, IAR’s work has made a significant impact in preserving and restoring the balance of nature. They also focus on reintroducing rare and endangered species back into the wild whenever possible.

Joining Littlemen in this charitable event are Life In Mono and The Pinkertons, who have generously offered their time and talent for the cause. Nick Allen expressed his excitement in sharing the stage with these talented artists, saying, “Komedia is one of my favourite live venues, and to share the stage with these incredible acts is an honour. Music has always had the power to connect and uplift, and this event is about doing both.”

Jeanette Campbell, Community Fundraising Manager at International Animal Rescue, expressed her gratitude towards Littlemen and everyone involved for their support, saying, “This concert is a celebration of music’s ability to create real change. We are so thankful for the support of Littlemen and everyone involved for generously giving up their time for free to help us raise awareness and essential funds for IAR while delivering a night of unforgettable performances.”

The concert will take place at Komedia Bath on January 8th, 2026, and tickets are available through their box office and website. Littlemen hopes to not only raise funds for IAR but also to inspire others to take action and make a difference in the world through the power of music.
