Vancouver, Canada – The city of Vancouver is eagerly anticipating the launch of the Canada Super 60, the country’s first professional T10 cricket league. This highly anticipated event, taking place at the iconic BC Place stadium, has announced its lineup of international stars and it is nothing short of blockbuster.

For the first time ever, cricketing giants from around the world will come together in Vancouver to compete in this exciting new league. The list of players includes Piyush Chawla, Saeed Ajmal, Shoaib Malik, Quinton de Kock, Shakib al Hasan, Moeen Ali, Jason Roy, Dawid Malan, David Wiese, Ravi Bopara, Rishi Dhawan, Chris Lynn, Alex Hales, Imran Tahir, Isuru Udana, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, among many others. These elite athletes will represent six dynamic franchises – the Brampton Blitz, Mississauga Masters, Montreal Tigers, Vancouver Kings, Toronto Sixers, and Whiterock Warriors – as they compete in the electrifying T10 format. In addition to these international icons, Canada’s own rising stars will also take center stage, showcasing their talent on a global platform.

Homegrown heroes such as Harsh Thaker, Dilpreet Bajwa, Ajayveer Hundal, Navneet Dhaliwal, Nicholas Kirton, Kaleem Sana, and Shreyas Movva will join forces with the international players, highlighting Canada’s growing cricketing depth. This inclusive approach also extends to players from associate nations, with the league providing a platform for talented cricketers such as Ben Manenti, Jack Jarvis, Ali Khan, Obus Pienaar, Bas De Leede, Mark Watt, Junaid Siddique, Rushil Ugarkar, and Michael Leask to showcase their skills and flair on a major stage. This diverse mix of players makes the Canada Super 60 not just a tournament, but a celebration of cricket’s expanding world stage.

The upcoming inaugural edition of the Canada Super 60 promises to be a thrilling mix of batting firepower and bowling brilliance. Fans can expect to witness the audacious stroke play of Quinton de Kock, the fearless six-hitting of Rahmanullah Gurbaz, the flamboyance of Chris Lynn, Jason Roy and Alex Hales, the class of Dawid Malan, and the all-round mastery of Shakib al Hasan and Moeen Ali. Adding to the excitement, spin legends Piyush Chawla and Imran Tahir, along with pace bowlers Andrew Tye and Dwaine Pretorius, will bring their skills to the field, ensuring a display of fireworks like never before. With this all-star lineup, the Canada Super 60 promises not just matches, but moments that will define Canadian cricket’s new chapter.

Tickets for the October 8–13, 2025 tournament at BC Place will go on sale in the first week of September. Due to the limited seating capacity under the closed roof of Vancouver’s biggest stage, demand is expected to be high as fans from across Canada and beyond plan to witness history in the making.

Kyle Coetzer, former Scottish captain and assistant tournament director of the league, expressed his excitement about the draft signings, stating, “We are immensely happy with the lineup of players for the inaugural edition of the Canada Super 60. Seeing such top players coming to BC Place for the first time adds a new aura to this iconic venue. The league is committed to providing fans with the best cricketing entertainment, infused with Vancouver’s West Coast energy. This is just the start of something very special.”

Amjad Bajwa, President of Cricket Canada, also shared his enthusiasm for the league, saying, “The quality of players signed sets an outstanding platform for Canadian cricketers to learn and compete alongside global stars. The player power of this league can take the game to new heights across the country.”

With international firepower, Canadian pride, and one of the world’s most spectacular stadiums as its home, the Canada Super 60 is poised to become the premier sporting spectacle of the fall and a milestone moment for cricket in North America.
