Allendale Community Centre Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity
Wimborne, Dorset – The Allendale Community Centre has revealed its new logo and refreshed brand identity, honoring its 50-year history while looking towards the future. The design, created in partnership with local graphic design company Pink Egret Artwork & Design, captures the essence of the Community Centre as a vital and inclusive hub for the Wimborne community.
The new logo features the original letter ‘a’ with a heart at its center, symbolizing the Centre’s longstanding role as the heart of Wimborne. The design also incorporates the colors of the surrounding landscape, with blue representing the River Allen, green for the dales, and yellow for warmth, light, and welcome. This color palette not only pays homage to the Centre’s history, but also reflects its vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
According to Peter King of Pink Egret Artwork & Design, “It was a privilege to work with the Allendale Community Centre on a brand identity that reflects both the past and the vibrant potential of this special place. This, coupled with the forward thinking team at the community centre has resulted in a brand for the future.”
The new identity has been carefully crafted to comply with usability and readability guidelines, ensuring accessibility for all members of the community. This phased approach to introducing the new brand will also ensure responsible use of resources, thanks to sponsorship support.
