London-based production company Daffodil Studios has announced the highly anticipated theatrical release of their acclaimed feature film, Saffron Kingdom. The film will hit screens across the United Kingdom on Friday, September 18th.
Audiences can catch the film at 62 showings in various Vue Cinemas, ODEON Cinemas, and Forest Cinemas locations until September 24th. Cities covered in the screening series include London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds. This marks the largest release of Saffron Kingdom since its initial debut in 2025.
Directed by Arfat Sheikh, Saffron Kingdom tells the powerful story of a Kashmiri family and their struggles with trauma and displacement. The film follows their journey from 1990s Srinagar, Kashmir to 2019 Atlanta, USA. With a focus on personal narratives and the complexities of sociopolitical issues, the film presents an authentic and multifaceted portrayal of Kashmir and its people, often overlooked or misrepresented in mainstream media.
Tickets for Saffron Kingdom are now available for purchase on the websites of Vue, ODEON, and Forest Cinemas. They can also be obtained through the Vue and myODEON apps or at the box office of Forest Cinemas.
