UK’s Got Talent runner-up and global performer Tom Ball has released his highly-anticipated new single “Timeless”, produced by Manu Martin and Susan Lim, featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and London Voices Choir. The single was recorded live at the iconic Abbey Road Studios and will be officially released on June 27th, 2025.
After achieving a Top 5 UK album in 2024 and becoming a first-time father through a widely publicized IVF journey, Tom Ball confidently enters the classical crossover world with his latest release. In just three years, Tom has gone from being a teacher to a successful performer with over 140 million online views, eight No. 1 iTunes rankings worldwide, and a Top 5 album on the Official UK Charts.
Tom first rose to fame as a runner-up on Britain’s Got Talent in 2022 and later as a guest performer in 2023. He also made history as the first-ever Group Golden Buzzer finalist on America’s Got Talent: All-Stars ‘Best of the Best’ in 2023. Currently on his second major UK tour, Tom’s highly anticipated second album, “Spotlight”, will be released on October 10th, 2025, with “Timeless” as the lead single.
“Timeless” is a powerful orchestral ballad that showcases Tom’s unique vocal depth and cinematic range. The 2025 version was specifically reimagined for Tom, with production by Manu Martin and Susan Lim, and conducted by Robert Zeigler. The track was recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Voices Choir at Abbey Road Studios and mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone, two highly respected engineers with a combined 12 Grammy Awards.
The song holds special meaning for its co-creators, Ron Danziger and Christina Teenz Tan, who became the first couple to get engaged at Abbey Road Studios during the recording of their music in November 2021. They will also walk down the aisle to “Timeless” as they tie the knot on June 14th, 2025, at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles.
Christina Teenz Tan, the lyricist of “Timeless”, describes the song as “a song for the seasons” that celebrates the preciousness of a bond that transcends time, culture, and the human experience. The song was originally composed for the ALAN project in 2017, a musical trilogy that includes three major compositions: the Lim Fantasy of Companionship for Piano and Orchestra, the Lim Cosmic Rhapsody, and the Lim Symphony of the Oceans.
According to ALAN creator and producer Susan Lim, “Timeless” has evolved beautifully since its inception in 2016 and is now a rich orchestral track that seamlessly integrates into both orchestral and chamber music versions. She is excited to see it premiered by Tom Ball, an alum of America’s Got Talent, on June 26th, in celebration of Christina and Ron’s union, followed by its official release on June 27th.
