“Supporters Receive Thanks from Hope Spring after a Successful Christmas Fundraiser”

Hope Spring, a charity based in Hereford that focuses on alleviating water poverty, has announced the success of its Christmas 2025 fundraising campaign. The organization expressed gratitude towards its volunteers, longstanding supporters, and first-time donors for their contributions during the festive season. The campaign brought the charity close to its fundraising target and provided crucial momentum for its upcoming clean water projects.

In a statement released on the charity’s website, Hope Spring highlighted the increase in engagement during the campaign. Hundreds of individuals donated directly to the charity or used the Hope Spring eCards platform to send digital Christmas greetings while supporting the charity’s cause. The organization stated that the eCard platform has become a significant part of its community fundraising efforts, allowing supporters to combine personal celebrations with social impact.

Temi Odurinde, a trustee of Hope Spring and founder of the eCard platform, acknowledged the loyalty of existing supporters and the growing awareness of the charity’s mission among new audiences. He stated, “We are genuinely grateful for every contribution received during the Christmas campaign, whether large or small. The combined impact of these donations has been a tremendous help and brought us very close to our fundraising goal.”

Odurinde also recognized the dedication of volunteers who work tirelessly throughout the year to develop and maintain the digital card platform. He emphasized the contribution of Seun Olonde, a long-standing volunteer who has been with the eCard platform for over four years and supported the 2025 Christmas campaign as her final fundraising season with Hope Spring eCards. “Seun has been an important part of the journey of the eCard platform. Her involvement has had a lasting impact on the quality and reliability of what we offer to supporters, and we sincerely appreciate everything she has contributed during her time with us,” Odurinde said.

Looking ahead, Hope Spring confirmed that it is already planning a series of fundraising campaigns for 2026, including initiatives for Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year, and February birthdays. These campaigns will provide accessible ways for supporters to engage with the charity’s work while maintaining responsible fundraising practices and community participation.

The charity’s main focus for 2026 is to expand access to clean and safe water in underserved communities. Hope Spring aims to complete six or more new borehole projects this year, with construction already underway at four sites. These projects are part of a long-term strategy to address water poverty, improve local access to reliable water sources, and support health outcomes, education attendance, and economic stability in affected communities.

Hope Spring also highlighted the impact of completed projects, stating that they not only provide immediate access to water but also reduce the time spent collecting water, improve sanitation conditions, and strengthen community resilience. The organization continues to monitor and evaluate its projects to ensure long-term sustainability and measurable outcomes for the communities it serves.

Further information about Hope Spring’s current and completed projects can be found on the project page of the charity’s website, as well as updates shared through its official social media channels.
