Bron Yr Aur Creative Micronation Officially Launches Citizenship Program
On the day of the Summer Solstice, a historic event is set to take place as the long-awaited Bron Yr Aur Creative Micronation officially launches its citizenship program. This limited opportunity will allow a select number of Founding Citizens to become part of what is poised to be one of the most culturally significant nation-building experiments of the century.
Bron Yr Aur, known for inspiring the iconic band Led Zeppelin during a reflective period and lending its name to one of their tracks, has evolved into a creative force over the years. It has been the site of international retreats, cultural residencies, and major collaborative works, including an album recorded by a global supergroup of nearly 50 artists.
Rooted in the ancient landscape of Wales and guided by the Three Pillars of Creativity, Sustainability, and Well-being, Bron Yr Aur is not just a micronation, but a global bilingual movement for meaningful connection, artistic legacy, and new civic imagination.
The first wave of 500 Founding Citizens will have the honor of shaping the world’s newest nation, with plans in place for cultural retreats, global partnerships, an artist-in-residence program, a creative prescription scheme, and a physical embassy venue in Machynlleth, Wales, UK, with more to follow globally.
The citizenship program will go live on the official Bron Yr Aur website on the 21st of June, with early bird access granted to the first 100 of only 500 founding citizens.
