Soho Jazz Festival Returns This September With 100 Artists and a Metaverse Debut

Last Updated on: 24th August 2025, 09:25 am

The Soho Jazz Festival returns from 10th to 14th September 2025, uniting 15 iconic venues across London for an unforgettable week of music and celebration. With a single all-access pass, audiences can experience 40 shows across Soho’s buzzing streets.

This year marks 100 years of jazz history, with the festival offering its biggest line-up yet: 100+ artists, 40+ gigs, and performances spanning swing, Latin, blues, soul, hip-hop, and the UK underground. Soho will transform into a village of jazz, where heritage meets innovation and tradition meets experimentation.

For over a decade, producers Nathan Britton and George Hudson have championed emerging musicians and established performers alike, shaping the festival into one of Europe’s most celebrated grassroots jazz events. Attendees can expect intimate jam sessions, secret gigs, exclusive album launches, and live recordings, all spotlighting the next wave of UK jazz talent.

Festival highlights include a specially customised vintage double-decker bus, hosting roaming performances throughout Soho. Partnering with Yamaha Music London and sE Electronics, the festival also features live workshops, collaborations, and immersive in-store sessions. In a groundbreaking move, Soho Jazz Festival introduces the UK’s first metaverse jazz club, giving audiences around the world a front-row seat to the action.

The event is proudly supported by 1664 Blanc as its official beer partner, alongside the Soho Business Alliance, the City of Westminster Council, and charity partner Help Musicians through their dedicated mental health programme Music Minds Matter. Passes are available now from www.sohojazzfestival.com.
