Grünenthal PRO, the contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) division of Grünenthal, has announced a non-exclusive partnership with SHL Medical, a world-leading solutions provider of advanced drug delivery systems. The partnership will allow Grünenthal PRO to offer final assembly, packaging, and labeling services for SHL’s Molly® autoinjector.
To accommodate this collaboration, Grünenthal PRO will be expanding its capacity by installing additional assembly lines at its Origgio, Italy facility in 2026. These new lines will be pre-validated and specifically designed for SHL’s Molly® 1.0 and 2.25 mL autoinjector platform. This expansion will further enhance Grünenthal’s 10 years of experience in providing SHL autoinjector assembly services.
In addition to Grünenthal PRO’s capabilities, SHL customers will now have access to their expertise and capacity in delivering high-quality and reliable contract manufacturing services.

It has a proven track record in combination product approvals and is designed to meet the evolving requirements of future autoinjectors.
