Room to Reward Welcomes Aimbridge Hospitality to Their Network

Room to Reward, a unique charity that works to provide breaks to inspirational volunteers, has announced its newest major group partner, Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA. Aimbridge, a leading hospitality company, has committed to donating breaks in unsold rooms across 63 of its properties in the U.K. portfolio to deserving volunteers nominated by their respective organizations.

“We are proud to support Room to Reward,” stated David Anderson, Divisional President at Aimbridge EMEA. “It’s a simple yet meaningful way for Aimbridge to show gratitude to deserving volunteers across the U.K. and Northern Ireland. By donating unsold rooms from our portfolio, we are able to put them to fantastic use and provide well-deserved breaks to those who make a difference. We are thrilled to be involved and look forward to welcoming volunteer guests to our hotels soon.”

Room to Reward operates on a simple premise – hotels donate unsold rooms during periods of low occupancy for short breaks (1-2 nights) a year. Charities, community groups, and other organizations that rely on volunteers to deliver their services nominate their inspirational Hidden Heroes for a well-earned break. The Room to Reward team then works to make it happen.

“We are delighted to welcome Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA to our journey,” said Adam Terpening, Director of the charity. “Having such a large number of hotels from across the company’s U.K. portfolio join us is fantastic, as it provides our nominated Hidden Heroes with an even greater choice for their well-deserved break. The support of such a prestigious hospitality company is also wonderful for us as a charity. The Aimbridge team has been amazing to work with, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.”

Founded in 2015, Room to Reward currently partners with nearly 1000 hotels across the U.K. and Republic of Ireland. Over 3000 volunteers from more than 900 charities, community groups, and voluntary organizations have been nominated for a break in recognition of their dedication and commitment. Together, these hotels have donated over £1 million worth of breaks in rooms that would otherwise remain empty and unsold.
