Neurology residents Christina Teenz Tan and Ron Danziger have shared their love story through music. The couple, who met in medical school and have been together for a decade, recently got engaged in a world-first proposal at Abbey Road Studio One.
The proposal took place during the recording of their co-written piece, “Pie-in-the-Sky,” with the full 78-member Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Robert Ziegler. This marked the first marriage proposal in the legendary studio.
Their award-winning song, “Timeless,” will be performed at St Giles Church on June 19, 2025, as part of the Summer Music in City Churches Festival. The couple will also walk down the aisle to the song when they marry at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles on June 14, 2025.
“Timeless” will also be released as a single on June 27, 2025, on Signum Records. It features Britain’s Got Talent star and global voice Tom Ball, alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and London Voices Choir conducted by Robert Zeigler. The song has already received 40 international awards for excellence in music and artistic direction.
Composer Ron Danziger expressed his excitement about the piece, saying, “Timeless captures the essence of our story—one of deep connection across worlds of science and music. To celebrate our wedding with this piece feels like coming full circle.”
Songwriter Christina Teenz Tan added, “Writing the lyrics to Timeless was a way of capturing how I saw our journey then. Hearing it now—fully realised with an orchestra, and sung on stage—it feels like our love set to music.”
The track was composed by Danziger, with lyrics by Tan, arranged by Manu Martin, directed by Susan Lim, and co-produced by Lim & Martin. It was mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone, two highly respected engineers with a combined 12 Grammy Awards, who have worked with artists such as Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift.
Fans can hear “Timeless” live at St Giles Church on June 19 by booking tickets through the festival’s website. The single is also available for pre-order on Signum Records’ website.
