- Parkopedia’s integrated EV charging services enable Leapmotor drivers to easily locate and access charging stations
- Real-time EV tariff data helps drivers secure the most cost-effective charging options or select their preferred provider
- Services to launch in late 2025, debuting with the Leapmotor B10 crossover
Parkopedia, a leading provider of connected car services, has been chosen to supply advanced EV charging solutions for all Leapmotor vehicles sold outside China, beginning with the B10 crossover. The model was first unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in late 2024 and will be showcased again at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich from 9–14 September when European order books open.
From late 2025, Leapmotor drivers will benefit from Parkopedia’s comprehensive EV charging services, including static, dynamic, and tariff-based products designed to deliver a seamless charging experience. These services simplify the process of finding and navigating to charging stations while providing verified, up-to-date tariff details, making in-car charging more intuitive than ever.
Parkopedia continuously monitors and updates its EV charging tariff database to ensure maximum accuracy and coverage. This enables carmakers to display real-time pricing or pre-configure settings, helping drivers select the best available rates or benefit from exclusive provider offers such as loyalty rewards or business fleet cards. By integrating this capability, Leapmotor enhances the connected car experience demanded by today’s EV drivers globally.
Recent findings from the Global Driver Survey show that over 90% of EV drivers in Europe and the US experience “charging anxiety”, while 60% consider accurate charging data “critical” when making purchasing decisions. This highlights the growing demand for high-quality, reliable connected car services that improve the EV ownership experience.
Through this partnership, Leapmotor owners will gain direct access to Parkopedia’s premium services via their in-car infotainment systems, enabling faster, stress-free searches for nearby parking and charging points while reducing distractions on the road. The features include precise charge point data, connector types, charging speeds, and navigation support to suitable stations.
“Leapmotor is growing quickly and we are pleased to play a key role in supporting their expansion across competitive global markets. Parkopedia will build on this partnership in China, fully utilising our global data and connected service expertise to address drivers’ charging anxiety, enhance journeys and support Chinese automakers as they continue to innovate for software-defined vehicles and the global smart mobility ecosystem,” said Ms. Iris Xu, General Manager of Parkopedia China.
Now operating under parent company Arrive, a global mobility platform provider, Parkopedia leverages its extensive verified parking and charging data to deliver seamless connected services for leading automotive brands worldwide. This collaboration with Leapmotor marks another significant step in supporting Chinese manufacturers’ international expansion strategies and enhancing EV drivers’ charging experiences globally.
