The UK and Ireland have welcomed the official launch of ONEEV, a next-generation EV lifestyle app designed to eliminate range anxiety and streamline electric vehicle ownership. Created by Tim Moore and Lyndon Gough, ONEEV directly addresses the frustrations of EV drivers by combining real-time charging information, transparent pricing, secure in-app payment options, and an exclusive marketplace offering EV-related products and lifestyle services.
The inspiration behind ONEEV traces back to April 2024, when Moore and Gough began their journey to create a better EV experience. Within 24 hours of receiving their vehicles, they faced the same challenges affecting countless UK drivers: unreliable charging apps, complex pre-payments, hidden fees, and a lack of a central platform for managing EV services. This prompted them to rethink the EV ecosystem from the ground up.
By May 2024, it became clear that the frustrations extended beyond charging infrastructure alone. EV owners were left struggling with limited information on home charger installations, insurance, maintenance, tyres, and roadside recovery options. Drawing on their lifelong friendship and shared determination, Moore and Gough founded ONEEV to empower drivers with a single, trusted solution that unifies every aspect of EV ownership into one seamless app.

The founders combined their complementary experience: Lyndon Gough, with a track record of building and scaling successful businesses, and Tim Moore, who spent years shaping global brands with a focus on customer-first innovation. Together, they assembled a team of developers and researchers to reimagine the EV experience — and bring ONEEV to life.
While others raced to roll out infrastructure, Moore and Gough put drivers first, focusing on accuracy and usability. In testing, they discovered that charge point data provided was only around 65% reliable – meaning drivers faced a one-in-three chance of failure or frustration. When they raised the issue, data hubs dismissed the concerns, claiming no other roaming partners had a problem and that this level of accuracy was acceptable. ONEEV refused to accept that. Instead, the founders delayed launch and invested heavily to raise accuracy to 99.8%, setting a new benchmark for the industry, resulting in a better experience for the customer.
