Ofsted Awards QA with ‘Good’ Rating Across All Areas – Commended for Exceptional Teaching in Apprenticeships and Skills

QA, one of the UK’s leading providers of skills and apprenticeships, has received a ‘Good’ rating in all aspects from Ofsted after their most recent inspection in June 2025.

This achievement solidifies QA’s position as a strategic partner for a diverse range of employers and places them among the top training and apprenticeship providers in the sector.

Since their last inspection in 2020, QA has continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of learners and employers. Currently, QA supports over 6,400 apprentices across 23 standards, offering programs from Level 3 to Level 7, including degree-level apprenticeships. All training is delivered online, providing convenient access to high-quality learning nationwide.

Ofsted’s report praised QA’s industry-relevant curriculum, stating that their programs are “designed to meet the needs of businesses for skilled technology professionals,” with specialized pathways in AI and data. The report also commended QA’s strong leadership and management, noting a “culture of continuous improvement” and “timely adaptations to improve the curriculum.”

Furthermore, the report highlighted QA’s high-quality teaching, with tutors described as “experienced technical experts” who utilize “real-world examples” and interactive teaching methods such as games, quizzes, and videos. Learners also have access to Ela, QA’s AI-powered expert learning assistant, to enhance their learning experience.

The report also recognized QA’s commitment to learner success, noting the following:

– Effective support for apprentices, including mental health resources and regular coaching check-ins.
– Tailored support packages for learners with SEND, including assistive technologies and flexible pacing.
– Opportunities for career development, such as talks from industry experts and access to external networks.
– Strong progress monitoring from coaches, helping apprentices understand how to achieve merit and distinction grades.
