Bielefeld-based SAP Consultancy Achieves Record-Breaking Fiscal Year, Surpassing EUR 100 Million in EBITA for the First Time
Bielefeld, Germany – On May 13, 2024, NTT DATA Business Solutions AG, a leading international SAP partner for the SME sector, announced its best fiscal year to date. The company’s sales revenues reached a record high of EUR 1.61 billion, representing a 13.3 percent increase from the previous year. This milestone was made possible by the trust of more than 6,000 active customers who rely on NTT DATA Business Solutions to deliver end-to-end digital transformation processes.

NTT DATA Business Solutions also saw significant success in international markets, with foreign sales accounting for 57.6 percent of total sales in the 2023/24 fiscal year, a notable increase from just over 50 percent in 2017. Sales grew particularly strongly in Western Europe (+18.4%) and Northern and Eastern Europe (+23.9%). In its home market of Germany/Austria/Switzerland, the company also achieved a double-digit increase of just over 10 percent.
The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization (EBITA) reached a historic high of EUR 103.4 million, a 4.2 percent increase from the previous year. On an adjusted basis, EBITA was EUR 118.8 million, representing a further increase from the previous year’s record level of 7.0 percent. The company’s success is further reflected in its workforce, which has more than doubled since 2017 to 15,300 employees.
A key driver of growth for NTT DATA Business Solutions was its cloud subscription sales segment, which saw a 42.7 percent increase to EUR 128.4 million. This segment has more than doubled in the past two years. In line with this development, licensing business fell by -27 percent, while consulting business and managed services exceeded the previous year’s figures.
NTT DATA Business Solutions is also focused on expanding its offerings with complementary applications. Last year, the company acquired Sapphire Systems, a British company offering digital operations software and services for SME customers in the US and UK. This acquisition demonstrates NTT DATA Business Solutions’ commitment to reinforcing its position as a leading SAP partner for the SME sector and providing advanced digitalization solutions. The company plans to make further acquisitions in the coming fiscal year.
