Netflix has announced exciting news for fans of “The Resurrected” – the Chinese-language series now has dedicated profile icons available on the streaming platform. This is a first for a Chinese-language title on Netflix, showing the show’s popularity and success since its premiere on October 9.
“The Resurrected” has consistently remained in the Top 10 non-English series lists across Asia Pacific, including countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam. In the week of October 13, the series even claimed the No. 1 spot in the weekly non-English series ranking in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
To further engage and connect with fans, Netflix is giving them the opportunity to showcase their love for the show by choosing their favorite character as their personal profile icon. Synopsis:
Set in the fictional city of Benkha, “The Resurrected” follows the story of two mothers who are brought together by their mutual hatred for those responsible for their daughters’ involvement in a fraud and kidnapping case. With the help of a mysterious goddess, they revive the deceased ringleader of the fraud scheme to seek revenge. However, their fury remains unquenched despite their relentless efforts, and as dark secrets are revealed, their alliance is put to the test, forcing them to confront the limits of justice and their own morality.
