NatWest has announced a new finance facility aimed at aiding the rapid expansion of KeySIM, a UK-based provider of Internet of Things (IoT) SIM cards and managed connectivity services. The funding is designed to bolster the company’s investment in resilient network infrastructure, crucial for maintaining operational continuity and meeting stringent cybersecurity demands.
KeySIM facilitates secure internet connectivity for machines, equipment, and remote assets, providing crucial services to various sectors such as healthcare, retail, facilities management, and security. Notable customers include the NHS, FatFace, and Punch Pubs.
In June 2026, KeySIM reached a significant milestone by transmitting over 10 million megabytes of data through its IoT connectivity platform. Following a year ending with revenues of £370,000 in July 2025, the company is projected to exceed £500,000 in revenues throughout 2026 and anticipates annual recurring revenue to surpass £1 million by 2027.
The company’s growth has been attributed to organizations seeking greater resilience and responsive support, leading to a migration from traditional connectivity providers. The funding marks a continuation of the longstanding partnership between KeySIM and NatWest, with KeySIM’s founder and Managing Director, Graham Robinson, having participated in the NatWest Accelerator programme in 2021 and 2022.
Rob Woods, Relationship Manager at NatWest, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are delighted to continue supporting KeySIM and have had the privilege of monitoring the company’s impressive growth over a number of years. The business has demonstrated strong innovation, ambition and customer focus, and we look forward to supporting Graham and the team as they continue their exciting growth journey.”
Graham Robinson remarked on the significance of the support received from NatWest, asserting, “Thank you to NatWest for their ongoing support. It isn’t a stretch to say that NatWest has been absolutely pivotal to KeySIM’s success, and we are incredibly grateful to be working alongside them. These funds will enable us to further enhance our network resilience and continue improving the service we provide to customers.”
As demand for secure and resilient IoT connectivity continues to rise, KeySIM is poised to further invest in its platform, expand its customer base, and solidify its position in the UK IoT connectivity landscape.
