London, 29th May 2025 – Ten-year-old Samson Cohen was treated to a special behind-the-scenes experience today as a reward for his impressive fundraising efforts. The young philanthropist, who raised an impressive £1,081.61 at the Ace Café fundraiser on 19th April 2025, was surprised with an exclusive visit to the London Air Ambulance helicopter and crew at their London helipad.
What was supposed to be a simple donation handover turned into a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Samson, who was thrilled to meet the team behind the life-saving missions across the capital.
The surprise visit was organized in recognition of Samson’s outstanding efforts, with the funds being split equally between the London Air Ambulance and the London Taxi Drivers’ Charity for Children (LTCFC). His generous donation will help fund LTCFC’s upcoming zoo trip on 9th July 2025 for 200 disadvantaged and special needs children to Hertfordshire Zoo. Additionally, the funds for London Air Ambulance will support their vital life-saving missions across London.
Colin Greaves, Treasurer of LTCFC, expressed his gratitude and admiration for Samson’s efforts, stating, “We would like to extend our sincere thanks and congratulations to Samson for his exceptional fundraising. The funds he has raised will go a long way in supporting London’s disadvantaged children, particularly in organizing our annual Summer Outing.”
The London Taxi Drivers’ Charity for Children has been dedicated to providing outings and support to disadvantaged children in London for 97 years. Meanwhile, the London Air Ambulance performs approximately 1,800 life-saving missions annually across the capital.
