Shanghai, China / Munich, Germany – Parkopedia, a leading connected car services provider, has been chosen to provide high-quality EV charging services to all Leapmotor models outside of China. This partnership will begin with the B10 crossover model, which was first introduced at the Paris Motor Show last year and will be showcased again at the upcoming IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich from September 9-14, 2025.
Starting in late 2025, Leapmotor drivers outside of China will have access to Parkopedia’s static, dynamic, and tariff EV charging products, providing a seamless and stress-free charging experience. These products not only assist drivers in locating and navigating to charging stations, but also provide accurate and verified EV charging tariff information, ensuring that in-car charging is intuitive and meets the needs of today’s drivers.
Parkopedia regularly updates and monitors tariff data to ensure maximum coverage, allowing OEMs to display tariff information and pre-select options for drivers. This empowers drivers to choose the most cost-effective charging rates or use a specific provider to take advantage of features such as loyalty rewards or company charging cards. This service enables Leapmotor to meet the growing demand for a connected car experience among drivers worldwide.
According to the latest Global Driver Survey, over 90% of EV drivers in Europe and the US experience charging anxiety, with 60% considering the accuracy of charging data to be ‘critical’. These findings highlight the strong demand for reliable charging services among EV drivers and the crucial role that high-quality connected car services play in convincing drivers to choose one brand’s EV over another.
Through this partnership, Leapmotor drivers will have access to Parkopedia’s premium services via their head unit, reducing anxiety when searching for available parking and charging and minimizing distractions while driving. These services include detailed EV POI data, such as precise charge point locations, charging speeds, and connector types, making it easy for drivers to find and navigate to suitable charging stations.
“Leapmotor is experiencing rapid growth and we are thrilled to play a key role in supporting their expansion into competitive global markets. Parkopedia will continue to collaborate with Leapmotor in China, utilizing our global data and connected service expertise to address drivers’ charging anxiety, improve their journeys, and support Chinese automakers in their continued innovation for software-defined vehicles and the global smart mobility ecosystem,” said Ms. Iris Xu, General Manager of Parkopedia China.
As part of Arrive, a leading global mobility platform provider, Parkopedia uses its extensive global database of verified parking and charging data to offer seamless in-car services to numerous global automakers. This partnership with Leapmotor marks another milestone in Parkopedia’s commitment to support Chinese automakers’ global expansion plans and provide high-quality, seamless in-car parking and charging experiences for drivers worldwide.
