Acclaimed physician executive and bestselling author, Michael Corvini, MD, MBA, is set to complete his noteworthy leadership book series with the upcoming release of “Blue Water Leadership: Using Emotional Intelligence to Navigate Rough Waters” in November. This release follows the tremendous success of his previous two titles, “The Physics of Leadership: A Common-Sense Guide to Uncommon Success” and “Leadership Alchemy: Essential Truths for Driving Transformational Change,” both of which have garnered First Place recognition from The BookFest.

This November publication marks the culmination of a prolific seven-month period during which Corvini released three interconnected leadership books, collectively known as The Leadership Alchemy Series. This series presents a comprehensive framework rooted in three vital elements of effective leadership: Wisdom, Intent, and Impact.

“Leadership is often taught as a collection of separate skills and tactics,” Corvini remarked. “But leadership operates more like a system.”

Each book delves into a distinct aspect of this leadership system. “The Physics of Leadership” investigates the principles that underpin effective leadership across various dimensions such as execution, strategy, and culture. “Blue Water Leadership” presents emotional intelligence as an essential tool for navigating the complexities and pressures leaders face. Meanwhile, “Leadership Alchemy” explores how combining high support for individuals with elevated performance expectations can catalyze transformative change.

While these works can stand alone, together they convey a unified narrative: Wisdom shapes Intent, and Intent drives Impact. When these three elements are aligned, leadership has the potential to elevate the ordinary to the extraordinary.

Corvini was inspired to write the series after colleagues encouraged him to convert a leadership presentation into book form. What began as a single writing project eventually blossomed into a trilogy that encapsulates insights developed over his extensive career in medicine and leadership.

“The goal was never simply to write books about leadership,” Corvini explained. “It was to create practical frameworks leaders can use when leadership is hardest and matters most.”

As the release of “Blue Water Leadership” approaches, interest in The Leadership Alchemy Series continues to grow, offering valuable insights for current and aspiring leaders alike.
