The Nimsdai Foundation is spreading holiday cheer this year with their first ever Ho Ho Ho Hike. On Saturday, December 13th, 2025, the foundation invites the community to join them for a 13-mile walk through the picturesque countryside of Dorset, UK. The event aims to raise funds for the foundation’s upcoming mountain community projects in 2026.
The hike will kick off at 10am from St Cuthburga’s Church in Wimborne Minster. Participants will have the opportunity to burn off some pre-Christmas calories while enjoying a cup of mulled wine or a soft drink along with a delicious mince pie or two. It’s a chance to share some laughs and soak up the enchanting winter atmosphere with fellow hikers.
The Nimsdai Foundation encourages participants to get into the festive spirit by dressing up as elves, reindeer, or wearing their best (or worst) Christmas jumpers. This jolly trek is not only a great way to spread holiday joy, but also to give back to a fantastic cause.
The entry fee for the Ho Ho Ho Hike is £15, which includes a donation to the foundation, as well as a mince pie and mulled wine. The hike will conclude at The Rising Sun Inn on 38 East Street, also known as Base Camp, where participants can celebrate their accomplishment.
No matter what holiday you celebrate, whether it’s Christmas, Yule, Kwanzaa, or Hanukkah, the Nimsdai Foundation invites you to join them for a festive and meaningful hike. By purchasing a ticket, you will not only have a fantastic time, but also contribute to making 2026 a great year for the mountain communities that the foundation supports.
