Hope Spring eCards Enlists Award-Winning Designer Christoph Gabriel to Donate Creative Skills

Hereford, UK – German designer and master stone sculptor Christoph Gabriel has generously offered his creative talents to Hope Spring eCards. The renowned artist will be designing six original Christmas eCards for the charity’s collection.

Gabriel, who hails from Witten, Germany, recently claimed first prize in the Journeymen and Master Craftsmen category at the 2026 European Stone Festival held in Freiburg. This prestigious event showcases the skills and craftsmanship of stone carvers, sculptors, and artists from all over Europe.

The collaboration between Gabriel and Hope Spring came about after a conversation between the designer and the charity’s trustee, Temi Odurinde. Odurinde reached out to Gabriel to congratulate him on his success at the European Stone Festival, and during their discussion, they explored the possibility of collaborating on a project.

Inspired by Gabriel’s stunning work in natural stone, sculpture, and memorial design, the idea emerged for him to apply his design expertise to a different medium. This led to Gabriel offering to create six original Christmas eCards for Hope Spring.

The eCard designs will be added to the charity’s existing Christmas collection and will feature some of Gabriel’s signature design motifs. These motifs can be seen in his work on his website, Besondere Grabsteiner.

Mary Adeotan, Hope Spring eCards manager, expressed her gratitude for Gabriel’s generous donation. She said, “We are extremely grateful to Christoph Gabriel for donating his design expertise to our cause. His contribution will add depth and beauty to our Christmas eCards, and we are excited to see the final designs.”

Gabriel, who has decades of experience as a stone sculptor, lettering craftsman, and designer, has an impressive portfolio of work. He has created individually designed memorials, inscriptions, monuments, architectural art, fountains, and garden sculptures, as well as decorative elements made from stone and metal. His work is known for its attention to detail, symbolism, and natural forms.

Despite primarily working with stone, Gabriel is no stranger to digital design. Every year, he creates Christmas greeting cards for his family and friends, and he is eager to apply his skills to create eCards for Hope Spring.

Hope Spring eCards is a digital greetings platform that supports the work of Hope Spring Water, a UK registered charity that works to alleviate water poverty. The platform allows people to personalize and send digital greeting cards for various occasions, with donations going towards clean water projects for communities in need.

Gabriel’s collaboration with Hope Spring is a demonstration of how people can use their professional skills and creativity to support charitable causes. His contribution is a donation of his time and expertise, rather than a financial donation.

Once completed, Gabriel’s six Christmas designs will be available for people to use when sending seasonal greetings to their loved ones. His designs are expected to join the Hope Spring eCards Christmas collection, providing people with a unique and meaningful way to spread joy and support a worthy cause.
