The two companies have agreed on a cooperation that is expected to strengthen industrial performance and security of supply in the defense sector.
The partnership will see HEIDELBERG developing, industrializing, and building power control and distribution systems for VINCORION, marking the company’s entry into the defense market. This collaboration aims to boost technological sovereignty and safeguard domestic value chains.
VINCORION, with over 60 years of experience, is a leader in developing and manufacturing power systems for both civilian and military applications. They also specialize in cutting-edge technology, including rescue hoists for helicopters.
Jürgen Otto, CEO of HEIDELBERG, states that the partnership with VINCORION is a milestone for the company and demonstrates their ability to industrialize complex products efficiently. He also mentions that HEIDELBERG is looking to become a reliable partner in security-relevant areas and increase their technological independence and industrial base.
