Fusion to Take Over Exceed with Acquisition

Last Updated on: 21st November 2023, 08:51 pm

Fusion Consulting Group, a London-based professional services firm, has completed its fourth acquisition of 2023 with the acquisition of Exceed Accountants Ltd.

Exceed Accountants is a Surrey-based accountancy firm with over 500 local and international clients and 15 staff members. The acquisition is part of the SME Capital-backed M&A war-chest that Fusion Consulting Group secured in October 2022.

Adam Maurice, Director of Fusion, said: “I am delighted to announce our latest acquisition. Exceed’s owners share our vision and values and I look forward to welcoming their international team and client base to Fusion.”

Anthony Phillips, a director of Exceed, added: “Succession planning was something we knew we had to do, but we had to make sure that the fit was right. We bought into Fusion’s experience in M&A and the formidable group they have created. My Co Director, Gerhard and I are delighted to be joining such an entrepreneurial business and are confident that this transaction will create wonderful opportunities for our clients and team.”

Founded in 2015, Fusion Consulting Group provides a broad range of services, including International Taxation, Business Advisory, Accounting, Financial Services, Legal Services, Recruitment and Digital Marketing. The firm seeks to fill the ‘advisory gap’ that has become customary when working with multiple advisors.

Commenting on the acquisition, Fusion Consulting Group said: “Exceed’s client base will now benefit from being able to tap into a broader range of skills and experience, whilst continuing to retain the personal relationships built directly with the Exceed team.”
