From Travel Marketing to HealthTech: How Angelika Eremeeva Is Helping Shape the Future of U.S. Therapy

Angelika Eremeeva has built her career at the intersection of creativity, technology, and business. With over a decade of experience in digital marketing, she has led viral campaigns for global travel-tech brands such as Aviasales, WayAway, and Travelpayouts, generating hundreds of millions of impressions and setting new standards for social media strategy.

Now, having established herself among the top professionals in her field, Angelika is bringing her expertise to the U.S. healthtech sector as Chief Marketing Officer of Therappy. The startup is positioning itself as the operating system for high-growth therapy providers, helping clinics streamline operations, stay compliant, and scale more effectively. In this interview, Angelika shares her journey from building global travel brands to shaping the future of digital health in the United States.

Q1. Angelika, how did your journey in marketing begin?

A: I started my career in Ukraine, working on digital projects for major brands. One of the first milestones was at SkyUp Airlines, where we launched innovative campaigns that caught the attention of CNN, BBC, and Reuters. Later, I moved into travel-tech with Aviasales and WayAway, where I built viral SMM strategies. Our campaigns reached hundreds of millions of organic impressions and were profiled in Forbes and Skift. That gave me the reputation of a professional who can build global brands and communities at scale.

Q2. Why did you decide to apply your experience in HealthTech?

A: I’ve always been motivated by challenges. In travel, I proved that you can build marketing strategies that become part of an industry’s language. Now, I see tremendous potential in HealthTech, especially in the U.S. The system is under enormous pressure, and clinics urgently need adaptive digital tools. For me, it’s not only about business growth but also about making a contribution that has real social value.

Q4. What is Therappy and what problem are you solving?

A: Therappy is the operating system for high-growth therapy providers who work with Regional Centers. We cut administrative overhead, accelerate compliance, and unlock clinics’ ability to take on more referrals — without adding more coordinators.

What makes us unique is our adaptive SaaS approach. Therappy combines the best qualities of SaaS — transparency, predictability, modularity, unified pricing, and an ecosystem-like environment — and takes it further with Therappy Lab, our tailored development tool. This allows versatile modifications and flexibility, enabling clinics to shape the system to their exact business needs. In other words, we provide an autopilot for day-to-day operations.

Q5. Can you already share results from the first clients?

A: Absolutely. Our first large pilot was with Maxima Therapy in California. When we started in Q1 2024, they had fewer than 100 clinicians and less than $900,000 in monthly revenue. After 18 months on Therappy, they grew to 300+ clinicians and $2.5 million in monthly revenue, while reducing admin-to-therapist ratios from 1:10 to 1:17 thanks to automation. It’s a powerful example of how adaptive SaaS can transform not just numbers, but the way clinics operate.

Q6. Why is your product particularly important for the U.S.?

A: In the U.S., there are tens of thousands of small and mid-sized therapy practices — usually with 20-500 therapists. They don’t have the budgets for complex ERP systems or custom IT development. Our solution gives them a turnkey platform: simple, adaptive, and cost-effective. On a broader level, this is also a matter of national interest: access to therapy and efficient clinical operations directly impact public health. Digital health and adaptive SaaS aren’t just trends; they’re essential for the sustainability of U.S. healthcare.

Q7. How does your experience in travel help you here?

A: Travel-tech taught me to operate in dynamic markets and to create strategies that resonate with millions. In Therappy, I apply the same principles of scalability and user-centric design. The only difference is that now, instead of inspiring people to travel, I’m helping clinics treat more patients more efficiently. The impact feels even more meaningful.

Q8. Where do you see yourself and Therappy in the coming years?

A: I want Therappy to become the go-to operating system for therapy providers across the United States. Personally, I see my career continuing here in the U.S. — leading projects that matter not only to businesses but also to communities. For me, it’s about using my expertise to create solutions that strengthen industries and, ultimately, improve people’s lives.
