The Florian Group, one of Italy’s leading names in wood flooring, has announced the official UK launch of its Natura Flooring brand with a new 6,000-square-foot distribution site near Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The facility introduces British consumers, architects, and design professionals to authentic Italian craftsmanship in wood flooring, now available directly from within the UK.
Unlike many flooring companies that rely on mass-produced imports from China — which may include toxic glues and chemicals — every Natura product is 100% Italian-made using sustainably sourced European oak and walnut. Each floorboard is meticulously handcrafted by Italian artisans who blend traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge precision. The result is a naturally safe, elegant, and durable product range that champions Italian quality, environmental integrity, and affordability.
“We started this new distribution because the UK is a fantastic market that deserves to understand what true wood flooring really means,” says Silvia Florian, Director of Natura Flooring and a member of the founding Florian family. “Too often, people buy based on price alone, unaware of the poor quality and lack of regulation behind many cheaper imports. The Harrogate site, strategically positioned just off the A1 at Junction 47, houses more than 1,000 square metres of each flooring range and supports rapid delivery across the UK — offering next-day dispatch or standard two-day shipping. Visits are by appointment only, allowing clients to receive tailored advice and preview collections in person. A purpose-built showroom, now under development, will open in 2026 alongside the company’s existing Northampton showroom. The project has already generated seven new jobs and established Natura Flooring’s long-term base for service, sales, and stock in Britain.
Every Natura floor is FSC® certified and fully compliant with the European Timber Regulation (EUTR), ensuring complete transparency and ethical sourcing. With direct oversight from the Florian Group, each step of the production process — from harvesting to finishing — adheres to eco-conscious practices using renewable energy and waste-free manufacturing.
