Francis House Children’s Hospice is pleased to announce the launch of its annual summer raffle, with a grand prize of £1,000 up for grabs.
Tickets for the raffle will be available for purchase starting Tuesday, July 1 until Thursday, July 31, offering participants the chance to win not only the cash prize, but also a variety of exciting rewards including a mountain bike, deluxe ice cream maker, and hundreds of pounds worth of vouchers.
The cash prize has been generously donated by JP Goldman, with all other prizes being donated for fundraising purposes at no cost to the charity.
Francis House Children’s Hospice is a leading provider of care and support for families of children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Currently, over 600 families from across Greater Manchester are receiving support from the hospice, which offers services such as respite care, day care, homecare, end of life care, and bereavement support. The funds raised from the raffle will go towards the daily running costs of the hospice, which amount to £13,700.
Among the nine prizes up for grabs in the raffle are £200 worth of Amazon vouchers, a 26 inch Enduro Mountain Bike, a Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker, £120 worth of One4all vouchers, Under Armour True Wireless Streak headphones and beanie hat, a toy hamper, Afternoon Tea at The Midland Hotel, and £75 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers.
Commenting on the raffle, Julie Williams, Senior Fundraising Officer, stated, “This raffle is a simple and convenient way to show your support for Francis House while also having the chance to win one of our fabulous prizes, all of which have been generously donated. A donation of just £2 could potentially win you the grand prize of £1,000, but you have to be in it to win it!”
The summer raffle is proudly sponsored by JP Goldman, a property specialist based in Urmston.
To purchase tickets, participants must be 18 years or older. The raffle will close on July 31 at 11:59pm, with winners responsible for collecting their prizes or arranging delivery within a 20 mile radius of the hospice in Didsbury.
