Ease-E Melts Launches to Help UK Pet Owners Tackle Stubborn Odours

When pet parent Jordan Ashford discovered that mainstream wax melts and sprays were simply disguising smells rather than tackling them, she began her mission to create something different. Today, with the debut of Ease-E Melts, UK homes have access to a fresh, pet-safe alternative for keeping living spaces odour-free.

Jordan’s journey began in 2023, when she started handcrafting wax melts out of frustration with the overly processed products available on shop shelves. Her new pastime soon grew into a true calling. “I remembered something my dad always told me – ‘find a job that you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life’. For the first time, it really resonated. I knew this was what I wanted to do,” she shared.

The turning point came on a rainy afternoon after walking her lemon beagle, Nala. “It poured down with rain and when we got home, the wet dog smell was unbearable,” Jordan explained. “I lit one of my melts and while it masked the smell temporarily, the stench returned the next day. I realised I wasn’t solving the problem – and that’s when Ease-E Melts was born.”

With this realisation, Jordan transformed her kitchen experiments into a business aimed at solving pet-related odour challenges. The Ease-E Melts range now includes wax melts, sprays, and carpet fresheners – all formulated with pet-safe, natural ingredients that neutralise smells instead of hiding them.

“The first time I tested my products, I knew I was onto something. The dog smell in the air was actually gone. For the first time, I felt relief and confidence in my home and that’s the feeling I want to give other pet parents,” Jordan said.

Ease-E Melts isn’t positioned as just another home fragrance label. Jordan calls it “a loyal best friend for your home – playful, loving, reliable and a little cheeky. It’s about giving pet owners their home back, without embarrassment, anxiety, or the constant battle against odours.”

Pet ownership in the UK is currently at record levels, with over 57% of households now owning at least one pet (Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association, 2024). Recent studies underline the issue of pet smells, with a OnePoll survey finding that 23% of Brits consider pet odours among the most unpleasant household smells and Yes Homebuyers reporting that 11% of buyers would be deterred from purchasing a property because of them.

Ease-E Melts is now live online at www.ease-emelts.com, with an expanding range created to meet the needs of pet-owning households nationwide.
