Children’s author Joanne Hutchinson will be releasing her latest book, “The Mythical Land Zoo,” on August 22nd. This whimsical tale invites young readers into a world filled with Gigglephants the size of teacups, Dreammuffs that snore candyfloss, and dramatic Moopacas strutting down the runway.
Unlike traditional zoos, The Mythical Land Zoo features completely impossible creatures that are sure to make children laugh, imagine, and wonder. This book is part of the larger Mythical Land story world, which also includes Og, Hagwitch, and Hettie the Talking Yeti.
According to Hutchinson, “I wanted to create a zoo that children would invent themselves – a place where ridiculous things are perfectly normal. In Mythical Land, anything is possible – a Gigglephant can be the size of a teacup, a Dreammuff can snore candyfloss, and a Moopaca can believe it’s the star of its own runway.”
The Mythical Land story world extends beyond just one book, with recurring characters, magical locations, and adventures waiting to be discovered.
