Charity Receives Boost in Donations for Winter Solstice eCards

Hope Spring, a Herefordshire-based charity, has reported a 60% increase in donations linked to their winter solstice ecards compared with last year.

The organisation attributes the success to their new range of solstice ecards, designed by trustee and co-designer of the ecards, Temi Odurinde. “The new solstice greeting cards are more engaging and visually appealing to visitors to our platform,” she said.

A digital marketing campaign was launched on social media and the web to promote the solstice ecards, and this has been key to the success of the fundraising efforts. In the last quarter of this year, Hope Springs ecard platform is the largest single contributor to the charity’s fundraising.

The funds raised are used to build water wells, boreholes and other water, sanitation and hygiene projects for communities in dire need in West Africa. The charity has since its foundation seven years ago positively impacted the lives of over 100,000 people. Details of Hope Spring water projects can be found on their website and social media pages.
