DeNA Co., Ltd. announced exciting updates for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, the popular app co-developed with The Pokémon Company and Creatures Inc. The app, which is available for download on iOS and Android devices, has reached its first anniversary and is celebrating with new features and content.
The first anniversary updates, set to launch on Thursday, October 30, aim to make card collecting more accessible and enjoyable for players. The updates include a new share feature, an expanded range of tradable cards, and improvements to the Wonder Pick feature. A video showcasing the details of the updates has also been released.
In addition, three new booster packs – Mega Rising: Mega Gyarados, Mega Rising: Mega Blaziken, and Mega Rising: Mega Altaria – will be released on Thursday, October 30. These packs mark the beginning of a new series where Mega Evolution Pokémon ex appear for the first time, providing an even broader Pokémon TCG collecting experience for players.
New covers and backdrops will also be available on Saturday, November 1, allowing players to obtain cards through booster packs and wonder picking to create their own unique collection.
To celebrate the first anniversary, a campaign with various events and missions will be held. These include a First Anniversary Celebration Campaign, First Anniversary Celebration Special Missions, and PROMO Reissue Drop and Wonder Pick Events. The campaign will also include the release of a special video titled “Pokémon TCG Pocket Memories” on Thursday, October 30, which will also be shown in Times Square, New York on Wednesday, October 29.
