On Saturday 8 July, 2023, the new Breuninger flagship store opened its doors in Munich, Germany, offering customers an inspiring retail destination full of designer brands and innovative concepts. The store, located on Sendlinger Straße, spans 12,500 square metres across six floors and has undergone a double-digit million euro renovation.

The store has an extensive selection of luxury and high-fashion women’s shoes from brands such as Golden Goose, Jimmy Choo, Isabel Marant, and Tod’s, and features designer collections from Iris von Arnim, Etro, Marin, Vetements, Max Mara, Brunello Cucinelli, Zimmermann, Victoria Beckham, and Zegna. On the ground floor, customers will find an expansive beauty world with brands like Charlotte Tilbury, La Mer, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Doctor Mi!, Jo Malone, La Prairie, Shiseido, and Xerjoff.

Speaking on the opening, Breuninger CEO Holger Blecker said: “As a dynamic, modern, cosmopolitan city, we believe Munich is the perfect place for the city’s residents, as well as visitors from all over the region, the rest of Germany, and abroad, to experience the world of Breuninger. To us, that means not only presenting exclusive, curated products, but also creating memorable Breuninger moments for our customers”.

The opening of the store in Munich further cements Breuninger’s commitment to a network of retail stores and vibrant city centres – the company now operates 13 stores in Germany and Luxembourg, with one in Luxembourg and an online shop in the premium and luxury segment serving ten countries.

The store offers a variety of services to ensure an extraordinary shopping experience, such as the free personal shopping service, a bespoke atelier, Click&Collect online reservations, and a shuttle service. To celebrate the opening, Breuninger is hosting Welcome Days on 7-8 July, 2023, with live music, cool drinks and special event highlights.
