The innovative book Brand Momentum, written by Tony Lewis, has been named winner of the Sales & Marketing category at this year’s Business Book Awards. The ceremony, held at Wembley on 10 September, marked the Awards’ eighth year of recognising the world’s finest contributions to business writing and leadership.
The judging panel applauded the book’s engaging content and practical insight. In their remarks, they said:
“The author has shown outstanding credibility and thought leadership in this category. Their fresh, innovative approach and engaging content, combined with excellent case studies, brought the key messages to life in a way that feels relevant and inspiring for businesses of all sizes. A truly deserving winner.”
Introducing a new way to analyse brand growth, Brand Momentum successfully anticipated the struggles of major brands such as Monarch Airlines and The Body Shop before their decline reached public attention.
Supported by years of pioneering study, the book provides business leaders and marketers with a sophisticated framework to monitor and predict brand performance, addressing gaps left by traditional measurements. It also highlights how maintaining consumer relevance is crucial to ensuring sustainable brand success.
